What is TILCOTIL and what is it used for?
TILCOTIL contains a drug called tenoxicam. Tenoxicam is a drug that belongs to the group of ‘Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory drugs’ (NSAID). Tenoxicam has the property of pain relief, fever-reducing and anti-inflammatory.
TILCOTIL tablets contain 20 mg of active substance each, and the tablets are oval, cylindrical, biconvex and grayish-yellow in appearance.
TILCOTIL 20 mg film tablets are offered in packages containing 10 or 30 tablets.
TILCOTIL, calcification (osteoarthritis), drop disease (acute gout arthritis), with rheumatoid arthritis causing pain and disfigurement in the joints and treatment of the signs and symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis, a progressive rheumatic disease that occurs with hardening of the back joints, it is effective in the treatment of acute musculoskeletal pain, postoperative pain and painful menstruation.

How is TILCOTIL Used?

the standard dose of TILCOTYLamine is 20 mg a day for the treatment of all diseases other than acute gout. Take your medicine at the same time every day.
The recommended dose for acute gout attacks is 2 mg’ per day for the first 40 days, and the subsequent 5 days the TILCOTIL dose is reduced to 20 mg per day.
If you have chronic disease, it is not recommended to exceed the dose of 20 mg per day. In this case, the frequency and severity of undesirable effects will increase without a significant increase in the effect of the drug. For maintenance treatment in patients who require long-term treatment, a daily oral (administered by mouth) dose can be tried to be reduced to 10 mg.
