Prof. Dr. Metin Ekinci
Education
Prof. Dr. Metin Ekinci was born in 1978 in Iğdır. After completing the first four years of his primary education at Iğdır Cumhuriyet Primary School, he finished the fifth grade at İzmir Hakimiyeti Milliye Primary School.
He continued his secondary education for four years at İzmir Fatih College Anatolian High School. He completed his high school education at İzmir Atatürk Boys’ High School and graduated in 1995. Between 1995 and 2001, he studied medicine at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine. He successfully completed his specialization in Ophthalmology between 2001 and 2006.
His specialization thesis focused on “Factors Affecting Success in Ptosis Surgery.”
